For many years, nature has been the inspiration for my creativity as well as a medium of expression. I see myself less as an artist, and more of a medium for the natural world to speak through,-hands that can bring its dreams into physical manifestation.

Daughter of Trees is my fiber arts project. Using organic chemistry to fuse flowers and fiber into heirloom pieces revealing the beauty of the natural world. Through the reaction of the acids, tannins and other dye compounds in the plant, mineral infused fiber becomes imbued with true to life prints- capturing the intricate details of petals and leaves.

My botanical printing has been another exploration of terroir- focusing on using locally abundant plant and dye materials as well as cultivating an expanding selection of dye flowers to use in my work.
