Forest Nymph Hyaluronic Acid Serum
This serum is composed of 98% of our artisanally distilled hydrosols, from wildcrafted Black Spruce, Balsam Fir and Sweet Fern, 1 % Hyaluronic acid, and 1% Geogard -a plant derived preservative. Inspired by the conifer draped rivers which cut through the Pine Barrens of Northeast Michigan this serum is filled with calming and toning forest hydrosols and hyaluronic acid to soothe and hydrate skin.
Hyaluronic Acid is used to plump and hydrate the skin, and is great for all skin types. Mature skin can benefit from hyaluronic acid’s plumping abilities, helping reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dry skin can benefit from hyaluronic acid’s ability to retain 1000x its weight in water. Oily and acneic skin types can benefit from hyaluronic acid’s ability to keep skin hydrated without adding any oils to the skin which may trigger breakouts.
Key Ingredients:
Black spruce- has potent antibacterial, anti-infectious, antiviral, and antiseptic properties
Balsam Fir- Astringent, antibacterial and antifungal. Rich in antioxidants which help to fight against free radicals and oxidative stress- the main cause of aging in cells.
Sweet Fern: anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants.
To Use:
Apply a 1/2 dropperful onto freshly cleansed skin. Let dry completely. Lock in more moisture by applying your favorite facial mist on top of serum. Finish by applying your favorite oil based serum or cream.
Usage will vary by season- in more humid months hyaluronic acid can draw moisture to your skin from the surrounding air, but during colder drier months when there is not moisture in the air you will want to use a facial mist to help add moisture to your skin and lock it in with an anhydrous layer such as a facial lotion or oil based serum.
Oily/Acne prone skin types- Try using just serum and misting face throughout the day when dry to keep skin hydrated without adding oil.
